Installation Instructions - Windows Mobile - NDrive v9 - (Anglais)

InstallationInstructions:

Option 1(recommended - faster) –computers with storage card reader/adapter


Requirements:


  • Compatible phone (refer to list)

  • ActiveSync 4.5 for Windows XP/2000 or Windows Mobile Device Center for Windows Vista

  • Storage card with free space for selected map

  • Storage card reader/adapter connected to PC*


*Some computers storage card readers, may not recognize SDHC cards (>4GB), if you have a SDHC storage card and your computer is unable to detect it, please follow the option 2 installation steps.


  1. Download NDrive to your computer.

  2. Insert the phone storage card in your computer’s storage card reader/adapter

  3. Extract the zip file contents to your storage card by right-clicking and choosing “Extract to...” and select the storage card as destination.

  4. After the files have been copied to your storage card, remove it from your computer’s storage card reader/adapter.

  5. Insert the storage card on the phone.

  6. A message will show up on the phone screen prompting for NDrive installation confirmation.

  7. Select “OK”.

  8. Once completed, NDrive will start up.

    1. If you have a trial, a message will appear inviting you to activate the trial map. Your device must have an activated SIM card. NDrive will prompt for activation via “Web” or “SMS”. Select “Web” and make sure your phone has an active data connection (3G, GPRS or Wi-Fi) or is connected to your computer’s internet connection (via ActiveSync). Please do not select SMS.

    2. If you have a full NDrive version, enter the provided serial number.[+info]


Option 2 - computerswithout storage card reader/adapter


Requirements:


  • Compatible phone (refer to list)

  • ActiveSync 4.5 for Windows XP/2000 or Windows Mobile Device Center for Windows Vista

  • Storage card with free space for selected map

  • USB cable provided with your phone


  1. Download NDrive to your computer.

  2. Start ActiveSync in your computer.

  3. Connect your phone to the computer via USB cable.

  4. Extract the zip file content to your storage card by right-clicking and choosing “Extract to...” and select the storage card as destination.

  5. After the files have being copied, disconnect your phone from the USB cable.

  6. On your phone go to the “File Explorer” and look into your storage card for a folder named “2577”.

  7. Open the folder and execute the file named “AutoRun.exe”.

  8. A message will show up on the screen prompting for NDrive installation confirmation.

  9. Select “OK”.

  10. Once completed, NDrive will start up.
